about c.curran designs

My jewelry begins with form, color, and line — organic shapes built to feel modern and at ease on the body. I've loved beauty and design since childhood, when my grandmother, endlessly stylish, passed on her love of fashion and jewelry. That inheritance still shapes everything I make.

I live on the coast of Massachusetts, and the landscape finds its way into my work constantly: light filtering through leaves and branches, rusted architectural fragments abandoned in the woods, the ripples wind leaves in sand. These patterns become the vocabulary I design from.

I fabricate in argentium silver, 18k gold, and enameled copper. Enamel is inherently unpredictable — a piece can start with a plan for its color, pattern, and shape, then transform in the kiln into something I couldn't have fully foreseen. That conversation between what I imagine and what the material decides is still, after all these years, the part I love most.
